HaPpY BiRtHdAy KaStOn!

So yesterday February 23, my baby turned 1! Its crazy to think that this year has already come and gone. Time goes by way too fast.

Kaston was born On February 23, 2008. He came into this world at 4:04 pm weighing in at 7 pounds and he was 20 1/2 inches long. He now weighs 21 pounds and is 31 1/2 inches long. Its crazy how fast they change. Here are a few pictures!

I also wanted to take a minute and update on all the new things Kaston has been doing.

• He walks really fast, sometimes he looks like a drunken sailor, but its so dang cute
• He is into EVERYTHING
• He loves to slide down the slides at the park.
• He is very daring. If I would let him he would walk off of couches, beds, etc. He has no fear!
• He loves Ky. Kaston is always following Ky around
• He loves to climb up on things

Those are just a few things that he has been doing lately. I am so glad that I have Kaston here in my life. I call him my miracle baby. When I was pregnant with him I had so many complications and Kaston fought through them and is here right now! I am so lucky to have both Kaston and Ky in my life right now.

New Phone!

As I mentioned earlier I took Ky to the dentist this morning. I also had to take Kaston to the doctor. So I was kind of busy! Well Brandon said that some of his work stuff needed to be washed and he needed them done by 1:30. So I told him to wash them himself! ha ha :) Brandon does not do the laundry its always me, but this time I told him to do his own stuff.

After I got home from taking the kids to their appointments I of course went to check the laundry. The drier was making this loud noise. So I opened it up and guess what I found in the drier? I found Brandon's cell phone! Yep that's right Brandon washed and dried his cell phone. I guess this is why I do the laundry! lol

Dentist Appointment!!

So today I took Kyler to the dentist. I was nervous because I thought that he might have some cavities and I also thought Ky was going to hate being there. Come to find out Kyler thought it was fun, weird! lol And we also found out that Kyler has 0 cavities! YES!!!! Kyler has never had a cavity yet, knock on wood, and I am really hoping that he never does! lol

I am so frustrated!

OK so I thought that I was saying goodbye to ear infections, but I guess not! Its never going to end. lol Kaston got tubes put in his ears and so far he is doing really good. Last week Kyler ended up getting an ear infection. It wasn't just one ear either it was both ears! So now Kyler is doing lots better and Kaston is still doing good, but my husband now has an ear infection. So fun. I absolutely HATE it when my husband gets sick. lol I love him to death but man he is terrible when he is sick. So hopefully my husband will get over his ear infection soon and I really hope that I can go without having ear infections for awhile. I am going to keep my fingers crossed!

Good Bye Ear Infections!

We finally decided to go ahead and get tubes put in Kaston's ears. I was really nervous because of the fact that he was going to be put to sleep for the procedure, but everything went really well. We had the tubes put in on January 8th 2009 at the surgical center. I had to have Kaston there by 7:30 a.m. and we were home by 9:00 a.m. So it was really quick and easy. The rest of the day he just slept A LOT! He was a little grumpy but for the most part he was fine! I only took a few a pictures and they were on my cell phone so I will post them soon!

Some of my family!

I just wanted to post some pictures of some of my siblings! I love my brothers and sister very much and I consider them my best friends. I am very lucky to live close to my brother Dan and my sister Tiffy. We get busy and don't get to hang out as much as we would like, but we have a blast when we are together. I love these guys!

I wish I lived closer to my other siblings so we could hang out too! Maybe someday I will be able to :) I miss you guys.

Brandon's Birthday!

My husband turned 31 on the 6th of January. He is getting old! lol I decided to invite a few people over, mostly family, and celebrate! We had Brandon's brother Greg and his family come, my brother Dan, and our neighbors Michael and Kasyie. We ended up having a lot of fun. Thanks guys for coming :)
